As owner/operator, I teach English and Japanese lessons to both private and corporate clients, as well as offer translation and acculturation services to client Japanese expatriate families.

Accompanied a Walgreens team from the department of Planning and Research to Japan as interpreter and guide. Duties included interpreting both linguistically and culturally for business meetings, debriefing the team on Japanese business and cultural etiquette, and arranging transportation and meals.

Sole instructor for Japanese 199 under the Department of Engineering. I was responsible for preparing and presenting all materials, including instructional materials, homework, quizzes and exams. I was also responsible for all grade assessments. Following the course I was able to sell my course packet to the department to be used in subsequent years.
